Purpose
Glenthorne Farm Stream Bank provides compensatory mitigation of unavoidable impacts to waters in the United States that result from activities authorized under the following:
- Section 404 of the Clean Water Act
- Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act
- Section 62.1-44.15:5 of the Code of Virginia
Additionally, the activities in question must meet all applicable requirements and be authorized by the appropriate authority.
Performance
Glenthorne Farm Stream Bank has a proven track record in achieving and maintaining conservation and bank development plans. Approaching its sixth year annual monitoring, GFSB currently has 3,000 stream credits available.
